Meet the Team
Dr Akinwaleola Akinlade
Head of Team
Dr. Akinlade is a dentist and oral and maxillofacial surgeon with over 2 decades of dental experience. He is a social inclusion advocate and founded Wellness Smiles Health Initiative, as a solution to oral health issues affecting underserved communities in Nigeria. He believes that by providing these solutions through education, advocacy and interventions, oral health problems would be significantly reduced in communities.
Moses Edozie
Communications & Community Engagement Lead
Moses Edozie Communications & Community Engagement Lead Moses Edozie is a storyteller, social impact advocate, and youth leader passionate about preventive healthcare and community development. As part of the team at Wellness Smiles Health Initiative, he contributes to health awareness campaigns, outreach planning, strategic communications, and partnership development focused on improving oral health access in underserved communities. With a background in storytelling, public engagement, and nonprofit initiatives, Moses combines creativity with advocacy to help drive impactful health interventions across Nigeria.
